When I come to Patagonia, I’ll see you
When I come to Patagonia, I’ll see you
When I come to your house, I’ll see you
And that will be fun.
Cuando vaya a Patagonia te veré
Cuando vaya a Patagonia te veré
Cuando vaya a tu casa, te veré
Y me gustará.
Objective: The learner will hold a conversation with someone in Patagonia using a complex phrase.
This song has three verses; one in each language but using the same melody.
Another song, 'One Day' can be learned in order to provide the other half of this conversation. It uses a different melody.
What you need to do:
Start by listening to the lyrics and practising the phrase 'Cuando Vaya a Patagonia.' When learners are confident, learn one language at a time, using the full version to sing along with and the instrumental version for when you want to test them!
Extension:
Ask learners to make lists of what else they might like to do when they visit Patagonia – use the Patagonia vocab section to make new sentences.
Learners can try and make the longest sentence they can by putting several phrases together.
