All About Me

Objective: Ice breaker/warm up game. Pupils will need to learn about each other’s identities and basic vocabulary for the theme 'Me'.

What you need to do:

Teach learners these colours

Blue / brown / green

Azul / marron / verde

Glas / brown / gwyrdd

Then ask them to get into groups with people with the same eye colour. They can only communicate using the single words you have given them.

Next you could try it with numbers.

One, two, three, four, five

Uno, dos, tres, cuatro, cinco

Un, dau, tri, pedwar, pump

Ask them to get into groups with people that have the same shoe size as them.

I have... / Mae… gyda fi /  Tengo…

Extension

Use the vocab section to expand the activity. You could try:

-numbers of brothers and sisters or pets

-favourite foods, sports 

-places they have visited
